О противоядии ракете Москит..
Прочел мессагу на ФриРепаблик, где один гай, который грит что он -дефенс контрактор, утверждает что амеры нашли противоядие Москиту.

Well, the RUMINT around SPAWAR is that the latest Aegis upgrades apparently smoked EVERYTHING thrown at it out at Wallops Island, including targets more difficult than Sunburn. Folks in the Aegis and TADIL program offices here and in DC are apparently quite surprised (albeit, for once, pleasantly so!). Vandal drones are, if anything, tougher targets than Sunburn--and the latest Cooperative Engagement Capability systems is apparently a real eye-opener (the launching ship doesn't need to pick up the inbound with its own sensors, just as long as ONE sensor, SOMEHWERE, can get a return signal).
We've been carping about the CEC system for years--like all really complex weapons systems, it was a mess until validated software finally got loaded, and then the test performance just went off the charts. The thing that surprised everybody is that, typically, it should've been at least two more generations of software before it worked this well.
