Re: Русский югенд..

по ангийски читаете? Раус пишет: советские офицеры готовили 8-14 летних детей в тичение 4 недель и засылали для сбора данных...12 детей в Белгороде поймали.

We had to remain aware of the fact that the Russians made considerable
use of the civilian population for intelligence missions. A favorite
practice was the employment of boys eight to fourteen years old, who
were first trained for this work and then allowed to infiltrate at suitable
front sectors. Immediately before the offensive opened, more than a
dozen such children were picked up in the Belgorod area alone. They
gave detailed reports on the kind of training they received and their
modus operandi. The training of these children had been supervised by
Russian officers, it had lasted four weeks, and there had been sixty participants.
The youths came from communities near the front on both
sides of the battle lines and therefore were thoroughly familiar with the
locale. Many were staying with relatives or acquaintances in Germanoccupied
localities and [were] therefore not easy to discover and apprehend.
Their talent for observation and skill at spying were remarkable.
For this reason, civilians in localities near the front (within six to ten
kilometers of the front line) had to be evacuated, not only because of
the danger from enemy artillery fire but also as a preventative measure
against espionage.
