Всего в М6 Linebacker было переделано 99 БМП М2 (не считая прототипа).
BAE Systems/United Defence 03.02.2005 получила контракт на переделку 69 штук М6 обратно в БМП.
Остальные, видимо, не переделывались, поскольку 01.08.2005 BAE Systems/United Defence получила контракт от ТАСОМ на ремонт 125 единиц вместе М6 Linebacker и машин М2А2 BSFV-MUA (т.е. "Брэдли", которые расчеты "Стингеров" возят), без разбивки по типам.
Так что, видимо, сейчас осталось 30 штук М6. Как я понимаю, фактически они остались в одном зенитном дивизионе какой-то тяжелой дивизии (лень рыть, в какой, но, скорее всего, 3-й мд).

United Defense L.P., York, Pa., was awarded on Feb. 3, 2005, a $7,075,595 increment as part of a $1,101,876,173 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for conversion of 69 M6 Linebacker Vehicles and 19 M2A2 Man Pads Under Armor Vehicles to the M2A2 Operation Desert Storm Vehicels. Work will be performed in York, Pa. (83 percent), Aiken, S.C. (5 percent), San Jose, Calif. (8 percent), and Fayette, Pa. (4 percent), and is expected to be completed by June 30, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on Jan. 21, 2005. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAAE07-01-C-M016).
