Я уверен. Причём американцы так торопятся что занялись созданием тяжелых бригад нового типа ещё до того как предназначенная для них создаваемая по программе FCS техника начала поступать в войска:

It will improve the deployment ratio so that there can be two brigades at home for every one deployed overseas...
The restructuring would leave a division with three types of brigades: heavy, with armor; light, with motorized infantry, and airborne. This new Brigade Units of Action is different from the Units of Action the Army is forming to achieve the Future Combat Systems [FCS]. The FCS first unit equipped (FUE)-one battalion equivalent-in 2008 and an initial operating capability of one brigade Unit of Action (UoA) in 2010...
...The Army will achieve threshold Objective Force capabilities in Fiscal Year 2010 and transform three brigades per year beginning in Fiscal Year 2012. Consistent with the defense strategy, forward deployed and rapid reinforcing forces will be the first units to transform. Given the current schedule, in Fiscal Year 2015 the Army will have sufficient FCS Units of Action (equivalent of five divisions) fielded to achieve the goal of deploying five divisions in 30 days.
Обратите внимание на упомянутые строки. Очень удивлен что новые американские структуры СВ прошли не только мимо внимания генерал-полковника в отставке, но и Вашего, они кстати на ВИФ2НЕ обсуждались. Взгляните на бригаду нового типа в которой ещё нет никаких FCS:
