Названо количество турецких БТР Ejder, закупленных грузинами - 70
Тут я уже постил в прошлом году о закупке грузинами самопальных турецких БТР Ejder разработки компании Nurol, теперь всплыло их число - 70 машин.
Добавлю, что информация о Грузии, как пользователе БТР Ejder, появилась на сайте турецкого департамета военной промышленности еще в июне прошлого года, так что контракт, видимо, был заключен именно тогда, до Августа.

Georgia is the launch customer for the new Turkish Nurol Makina Ve Sanayi Ejder (6x6) armoured wheeled vehicle (AWV), it has been revealed.
Georgia has ordered 70 of the vehicles in armoured personnel carrier (APC) configuration; the first was delivered last year and final deliveries are due late in 2009.
The fully amphibious vehicles can be propelled by two jets at a speed of nine km/h.
Standard equipment includes an automatic drive train management system, independent suspension for all wheels, two steered axles, an emergency steering support system, a central tyre-inflation system, dual circuit brakes, an anti-skid braking system, an electronic engine management system and CAN bus communications. The vehicle is also fitted with a self-recovery winch.
Cameras provide the crew with enhanced situational awareness through a full 360 degrees. If required, firing ports and associated vision devices can also be provided for the troop compartment.
The APC configuration can be fitted with various turrets and remote-controlled weapon stations.
The baseline Ejder has a hull of welded steel armour that provides the crew with protection from small arms fire and shell splinters according to baseline STANAG 4569.
Nurol is developing a complete family of 6x6 vehicles that will include reconnaissance, NBC reconnaissance, anti-tank weapon carrier, armoured fire support, mortar carrier, command post, repair/recovery and engineer variants.
While first production Ejder vehicles are in the 6x6 configuration, work is also under way on 4x4 and 8x8 models that will all share a number of common components. This will allow the company to offer a complete family of vehicles for the home and export markets.
