Хм. Вообще-то вот это :
He noted, in that connection, that it was difficult to discover how Tudor justice worked in practice, for "no statistics as to either convictions or executions were kept then, or till long afterwards." What he found were "a few vague generalities, with here and there a piece of positive evidence." We must conclude, then, that no one knows how many executions there were during the reign of Henry the Eighth.
