Diana's death more memorable than WWII

Britons rate the death of Diana, Princess of Wales, as
the most significant historical event over the last 100
years, according to a new survey.
Presented with a list of ten events 22 percent of
respondents regarded the 1997 death of Diana as the
most significant, with the outbreak of World War II a
close second (21 percent) and women winning the right
to vote in third (15 percent).T
