Помогите с ИРАКОМ в 2003 году

В общем, мужики...
Пишу диплом по этой войне.
Деканат пропустил и дал добро.

Тема звучит так:
"Шок и Трепет и Последняя война Саддама Хуссейна".

Очень нужна серьезная литература по теме, анализ боевых действий, авторы - лучше военные теоретики, источники, мемуары.

Очень надеюсь на вашу помощь.

Тема не раскрыта

Анализ и выводы непосредственно по действиям в Ираке поверхностны. 70% статьи состоит в банальном сравнении состояния вооружений в армии США и России, что не связано с темой никак. т.е. существует некое ядро дополняя к которому введение на горячую тему можно клепать однотипные статьи "война в Иране - было и думы", "Война в Сирии - былое и думы" и т.д. повторяя стихи о Гавриле из Ильфа и Петрова.

P.S. Справедливо упомянув о деньгах как главном оружии, автор почему-то никак не отметил как с этим оружием бороться нашим генералам... в случае чего... :)

Пускай, нормально, зато в формате хорошем.
Припишу в качестве литературы и пойдет. Но насчет содержания - вы правы.

McCoy's Marines: Darkside to Baghdad

Best of the bunch if it is a serious military history of the 1st Gulf War that you are after.


The Iraq War

Written by Anthony Cordesman. Not so much a narrative military history as a 500 page “after action report” on the 2nd Gulf War. If you really wish to know what worked and what did not then this is the book to go for.

Имею много публикаций и отдельных научных статей (ученых востоковедов), у них в основном политологический, аналитический характер. Про САМУ военную составляющую очень мало.

Монографий бы мне..
Или что-то, написанное военными теоретиками, начальниками штабов, участниками событий. Ведь написанное по теме журналистом и отставным генералом - это две большие разницы. Вот хотелось бы второго...

А Рамзай мне что-то не очень...

И еще вопрос.
я хотел написать военно-теретическое исследование, защищаться с картой, раскрытием стратегии и тактики воюющих сторон... А моя дипломная руководительница хочет превратить диплом в чисто историческую обзорную работу, где собственн она военную составляющую будет сделан далеко не главный упор. У нее есть лозунг: "вы учитесь не в военном училище!"
Как быть?

Извините, я о Вас хорошо подумал "Имею много публикаций" - это значит Вы их афтор. А так... "ученых востоковедов"... Прям "полиглот, влядею тремя языками - свиным и двумя телячьими".

Раз решили косить от армии не в училище, а в институте, то терпеть. Ну и раз Вы пишите "пишите еще", то с моей стороны правильным ответом будет "убейте себе об стену".
