Harbour personnel secure the new US troop-transporter catamaran "Joint Venture" 28 February 2002 in Kiel, Germany. The catamaran is about 96 metres long and 36 metres wide and can transport 360 elite soldiers with more than 100 vehicles and reaches 63 kilometres per hour. It takes part in the NATO exercise ' Strong resolve' the biggest sea-,air- and land-exercise this year which starts 01 March.
Спасибо за адрес, "The Cat", - на нем катался :), на паромной линии Мельбурн-Тасмания xодит, если волны не очень, тогда только паром-теплоxод "Spirit of Tasmania" выпускают. Насколько я знаю, у австралийского Navy есть два, еще в 99г. в Вост. Тиморе участвовали.
