Yokota Air Base officials have announced that many base facilities will not open tomorrow due to an expected snow storm. As much as 12 inches of snow is expected to hit the area, according to Accuweather.com.

All schools, day care centers and most shopping facilities are among the closures.

Yokota is still covered in the 12.7 inches of snow that hit the base last week; an amount that broke a 65-year record for most daily snowfall in February.
